marytimeo It is great to listen to this ep as it shows how much the group has managed to expand on their ideas so to build Dreaming in a dead language. Good little ep that was very promising and that shows the group's ability to explore the path they've entered.

Ippocalyptica Mo’ynoq truly hit their stride on Dreaming in a Dead Language (one of 2019’s best black metal albums), but listening to both Bardo and the earlier Anguish and Atonement is fun and rewarding because they are solid pieces of USBM and it is fascinating to trace the band’s evolution from inception to their scarily potent current form just three years later. Supremely-anguished vocals, constantly-evolving riffing, and stellar drumming really leave little to be desired here. Favorite track: Celestial Rebirth.
