Riff Spreader This is a sick as fuck black metal album straight from the humid climes of North Carolina. Dissonant and ferocious, but also oddly catchy. These folks know how to write a riff.

Ippocalyptica I love surprises provided that they are good ones, and on Dreaming in a Dead Language, Mo’ynoq delivers the goddamned goods. This is dissonant and mildly-progressive black metal filtered through robust death metal sensibilities, and while many people cite Krallice as a reference point, I actually consider Outre’s Hollow Earth to be a far better comparator. This is high praise given Hollow Earth’s aggressive majesty, but Mo’ynoq are mighty talented. Mighty talented indeed... Favorite track: The Collector.

Marcello Velasco Straight forward no bullshit Black Metal. Somehow this album manages to just find the right notes. I wouldn't call it very melodic, but the few simple melodies just keep sticking in my head. Still it has enough chaos and dissonance to make you feel uneasy. No favorite track, since all tracks are awesome. But the opener alone is a banger imho. Favorite track: Empyreal Decay.
